It was an extraordinary morning to photograph at the Croton Dam, my friend and I felt that we were somewhere on the Maine Coast shooting.

The fog and mist made the landscape feel so ethereal, that every capture was a special image to feel grateful for and proud of!

I kept putting off returning here ( a span of 5 1/2 years) for the perfect conditions, as you can tell, my patience paid off...

I find this landscape to be one of the more inspiring in the Hudson Valley due to the convergence of natural and man-made elements. The natural being the Croton River, and the man-made was the structure of the Croton Dam Spillway.

Retired from a rewarding career as a Music Educator, Angelo's creative muse is now Landscape Photography.
